Linda Henderson-Smith, PhD, LPC, CPCS

President and CEO

Linda Henderson-Smith, PhD, LPC is the President and CEO of ATC Consulting, LLC. Linda Henderson-Smith, PhD, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor and an Educational Psychologist with almost 20 years of clinical and administrative experience in community-based mental health. Additionally she is certified as a:

  • Professional Counselor Supervisor;

  • Change Management Practitioner; and

  • Six Sigma Black Belt;

She joined the National Council in May 2016 after working at the Georgetown University National Technical Assistance Center for Children’s Mental Health as the Director of Mental Health Planning and Policy. While at Georgetown she helped develop training regarding Trauma-Informed Systems, especially for people with co-occurring developmental and behavioral health disorders. Prior to working at Georgetown, Linda worked at the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in numerous roles, the most recent being the Director of the Office of Children, Young Adults and Families, where she spearheaded the implementation of high fidelity wraparound, care management services, and mobile crisis services throughout the state, and worked with other state agencies to strengthen the service systems for vulnerable populations. Linda brings a distinct perspective and knowledge base to behavioral health promotion, prevention and intervention and is passionate about helping families, organizations, systems and communities transform. Additionally, her work in community behavioral health centers, government and at the national level providing training and technical assistance has honed her skills in training, consultation, design, implementation and evaluation services.

Jerval Johnson, BCBA

Jerval Johnson is a board certified behavior analyst, clinical director, and doctoral student at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She received her undergraduate degree at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina and her Masters degree in Educational Psychology at Capella University. Aside from her educational and professional endeavors, she loves all things nerdy, laughing at and with her boys, and fitness.
